Background
During the summer of 2023, I returned to the Amazon's Alexa HumanFX Team as a UX Designer Intern. I worked with a Senior Technical Product Manager on am upcoming Echo Dot feature meant to drive customer engagement and purchase decision.
Summary
The project is under NDA, so I am only able to share limited details. Below is a summary of my work:
Owned UX research and design for an Echo Dot feature utilizing proprietary technology (releasing by EOY 2024)
Led a 6-week UXR study to validate the technology’s functionality in home environments and its value to users
Refined the Product Requirements Document (PRD) and designed 6 Alexa mobile app flows based on UXR Data
Learned Voice Design from scratch and created 8 release-ready Voice UI flows to enhance convenience for users
